LITTLE RUNNER

The purpose of Little Runner is to promote a healthy lifestyle in the future athletes of tomorrow.  As a teacher, I shared my running journey with the students in my classroom.  Their excitement and energy, inspired me to start the program.  Since then, I have worked with hundreds of Little Runners training them for 5k’s, 1 mile fun runs, and youth triathlons all over the valley. 

During the training program, runners can expect to:

  • practice proper stretching and running techniques
  • follow a training program and track progress
  • learn healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices
  • gain confidence and desire to achieve their goals
  • have fun!

After School Program

  • Weekly training sessions at participating schools
  • Sessions are broken into 3 or 4 training periods per year
  • At home training plan included
  • Runners can participate as a team in our feature races
  • Tips for overall training, health, and life balance
  • Ongoing support and motivation

One on One Coaching or Small Group -$50/hr

  • Coach runs with you and paces the workout
  • Stretches, drills, and strength exercises
  • Running form analysis
  • In person motivation, guidance, and tips
